USDA-FSA Resources

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene's devastating impact on parts of the Southeast, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is actively assisting with response and recovery efforts. USDA has deployed staff, implemented program flexibilities, and is providing resources to support farmers, foresters, and communities affected by the storm. USDA Program Flexibilities

USDA’s Farm Production and Conservation agencies - Farm Service Agency (FSA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Risk Management Agency (RMA) are adding flexibilities to its disaster assistance programs to assist impacted producers.

RMA has authorized crop insurance companies to provide flexibility on reporting requirements for those who are unable to report losses due to the disaster.
