Description: Landowners with forests on their property can leverage the Healthy Forests Reserve Program (HFRP) to support the protection and restoration of forest habitats and endangered species. Growers can participate in restoration or easement agreements with the NRCS and may be eligible for additional cost-share funding to support conservation practices on HFRP land. Only 12 states offer this program: Arkansas, California, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina
